Meghan Markle’s Favorite Beauty Secrets Are Surprisingly Easy to Follow

Prince Harry’s new fiancé is positively glowing after the news of their engagement brokeyesterday, but there’s no denying that the Suits star incorporates some serious TLC in her beauty routine to look as radiant as she does.

The 36-year-old shared her favorite beauty tips back in 2013 in an interview with Birchbox, and we’re totally taking some pointers from the soon-to-be member of the royal family.

The on-screen star advocates for radiant skin, but she’s not about covering everything up. “Only apply foundation to the spots you need it,” she says, “and spread it with a beautyblender ($20).” Markle, whose outspoken about her love for freckles, says, “I never want to cover my freckles, so we just do a ‘wash’ of foundation in certain sections instead of over the entire face.”

In other facial news, the bride to be swears by facial exercises, which entails working out specific muscles of the face to tone and lift certain areas. Markle says aesthetician, Nicola Joss “…basically has you sculpt your face from the inside out,” adding that her “cheekbones and jawline are waaaay more sculpted” on the days she practices.

Meghan’s trick for opening up sleepy peepers? “Apply a highlighter like Yves Saint Laurent’s Touche Éclat ($42) in the inner corner [of the eye],” she advises. “This trick is especially good when we are filming at 3am and I need to look bright eyed and bushy tailed.”

As for her hair, the always-sleek star has a trick for taming pesky flyaways.”I spray hairspray on a small boar bristle toothbrush (a regular toothbrush also works great!) to lightly brush them down or smooth the hairline,” Prince Harry’s fiancée reveals, “This is especially good for a sleek bun when I am off-camera.”

When her tresses need a bit of oomph, Markle swears by a quick hair flip to get things revved up. “When my hair is feeling a little weighted, Suanne, my hair artist on set, has me bend forward and she sprays a little Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray ($46) or nothing at all, and then has me ‘flip back hard’ to give my hair a little extra bounce.”

Catch the full video above. We can’t wait to see Meghan’s beauty look on her wedding day in the spring of 2018. Until then, we’ll be incorporating these hacks into our daily routines!

Miley Cyrus’ New Tattoos Are Wonderfully Positive and Everyone Should See Them

Miley Cyrus may have left her out-there ensembles behind her, but she’s still expressing herself through her collection of tattoos — and the ink just keeps on coming.

So far she has tattoos about her bae’s favorite snack, her dog Emu, an SNL skit she participated in, and more. This time her new ink is a reminder to herself and others — it’s short, sweet, and easy to remember.

Miley Cyrus Be Kind Tattoo

The “Malibu” singer invited over some friends, including her brother and her tattoo artist pal, and decided to get a new piece of body art… while hanging in her bedroom! She posted her fresh art to her Instagram story: two words at the tops of her wrists that read “BE KIND.” It’s a good reminder any time of year, but especially around the holidays.

As if it weren’t enough to get tattooed, they then switched roles and Cyrus gave HIM something to remember the occasion by as well, looking pretty pro while she did it. She captioned the shot “Watchout Kat Von D” and tagged her tattoo artist. We’re not sure what the Disney Channel alum inked on his skin, but we’re sure it’s kooky and sweet.
